NOTE: Payments are submitted for processing on the day received in office (postmark dates and check dates are not accepted).

Tax payments can be submitted by:

1. Placing in secure lock box located front door of the Town Hall.
2. Placing in mailbox outside Collector’s office door.
3. Mail to 161 Main Rd, Suite 1, Montgomery, MA 01085

OVERVIEW

The Office of the Tax Collector will provide taxpayers and town employees with professional and courteous customer service. We will answer all inquiries in a timely manner. We will treat all taxpayers with equity and take all necessary steps allowable by law to collect all past due monies.


The Tax Collector’s Office is responsible for the billing and collection of the following receivables:

• Real Estate & Personal Property Taxes
• Motor Vehicle Excise Taxes
