Annual Town Election, Nominations & Voter Status

Our annual Town Election is Monday, May 5, 2025. The following positions are available:
MODERATOR – 1 year term
SELECTMAN – 3 year term
ASSESSOR – 3 year term
TOWN CLERK – 3 year term
LIBRARY TRUSTEE – 3 year term
TRUSTEE OF THE AP PETTIS FUND – 3 year term

Nomination papers are now available from the Town Clerk and must be obtained by the person wanting to run for office. If you are picking up nomination papers for someone else, you must have the request in writing signed by the potential candidate. All nomination papers will require 20 signatures of registered voters, with the address where they are registered to vote. It is recommended that more than 20 signatures are obtained in case there are any issues. You cannot be listed on the ballot if you do not obtain 20 verifiable signatures!

Nomination papers are due back to the Town Clerk’s Office (Board of Registrars) by 5:00PM, MONDAY, MARCH 17, 2025.

**I will be out of Town February 6-18, 2025, and will not have email access. Nomination papers will not be available for pickup during these dates.**
